On June 8th, in the Forlì Campus, the Director of the Department of Interpreting and Translation (DIT) Rafael Lozano together with SHIFT local members Félix San Vicente (Coordinator), Mariachiara Russo and Nicoletta Spinolo presented the SHIFT project to local stakeholders thus generating an interesting and stimulating exchange of ideas and expertise. Invited institutions were: Chamber of Commerce of Forlì-Cesena, Ser.In.Ar.
The second SHIFT project meeting was held on April 21st and 22nd in Mondragón (Spain), at the headquarters of Dualia SL.
Remote interpreting seems to be raising the interest of interpreter trainees: two newly graduated students at the MA in Interpreting of the University of Bologna at Forlì decided to write their final dissertation on telephone interpreting.
The second SHIFT project meeting shall be held on April 22nd in Mondragón (Spain) and will be hosted by DUALIA SL.
On Thursday 21st April, a SHIFT event will be held at DUALIA’s premises; on this occasion, the project will be presented to local stakeholders and an invited speaker –to be revealed soon!- will give a lecture on the history of technology in interpreting.

The first SHIFT meeting was held on December 10th and 11th in Forlì, and hosted by the Department of Interpreting and Translation of the University of Bologna, Forlì campus.
During the two meeting days, project partners discussed administrative issues and, especially and extensively, future steps to be taken for the development of project contents and outputs.
