The SHIFT team is proud to announce that the results of the market survey carried out within the project are online!
The SHIFT market survey (Intellectual Output 3 of the project), lead by project partner VEASYT, aimed at studying the current and potential market of remote interpreting in the three SHIFT member countries (Italy, Spain, the UK) and on two different sub-groups, in order to analyse both the supply and the demand of remote interpreting services.
On October 19th and 20th, 2017, the SHIFT group met in Venice, hosted by VEASYT, to discuss project progress and future steps, with a special focus on the final outputs and events of the project: the teaching materials, the Summer School to be held in Forlì in June 2018 and the final event to be held in Guildford in July 2018.
On October 19th, 2017, SHIFT partner VEASYT will host the second SHIFT Multiplier Event in Venice, Italy.
During the event, the results of a market survey carried out within the project to explore the market and use of remote interpreting will be presented. Furthermore, guest speakers will talk about their interpreting service needs as users and about smart working and communication technology. Have a look at the programme above!
The first issue of the SHIFT Newsletter is here!
There are two available versions of the Newsletter: one targets interpreters and interpreting scholars, while the other is directed to users and potential users of remote interpreting services.
You can view them both here, from our Resources section.
SAVE THE DATE!
The next SHIFT event will be held in Venice on October 19th, 2017, hosted by VEASYT.
