SHIFT multiplier event and project meeting in Venice: highlights

On October 19th and 20th, 2017, the SHIFT group met in Venice, hosted by VEASYT, to discuss project progress and future steps, with a special focus on the final outputs and events of the project: the teaching materials, the Summer School to be held in Forlì in June 2018 and the final event to be held in Guildford in July 2018.

On October 19th, the second SHIFT Multiplier Event, titled "Technology-based language services: future or present?" was held in the beautiful venue of Ca'Foscari University, in Venice, to present the results of the market survey carried our within the SHIFT project on the present and future of remote dialogue interpreting. During the event, stakeholders and interested parties such as representatives from the academic, health and ICT sector discussed their opinions and experiences on remote interpreting and smart work.
